Course Content
This one day workshop covers: Basic baby massage techniques, Contraindications and conditions for baby massage, Benefits of baby massage, Use of lubricants, Massage techniques for specific ailments.

Entry Requirements
A qualification in body massage is required for certification but this workshop is also open to mothers with a desire to learn how to massage their baby.

Qualification Attained
A Manchester School of Massage 'Baby Massage' certificate of attendance is provided and this workshop provides  5 CPD Points.

Further Information
Baby massage encourages the development of strength and flexibility with co-ordination, promoting good posture in later life. It provides stimulation for the immune system and circulation. It helps digestion and elimination and can relieve the discomfort of colic. It soothes the baby, promoting sleep and improves the texture of the skin’s elasticity and resilience.
Course times are from 10.30 am to 5.00 pm. The venue is at the Manchester School of Massage in South Manchester. The group size is kept below ten for individual attention. Please book early to ensure a place on a particular course.
